Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Country Manager to drive the growth of our CFD brokerage operations in Malaysia. This leadership role requires a strong background in sales, business development, and operations within the forex and trading industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive IB networks, deep market knowledge, and a proven track record in revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Launch, manage, and optimize advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram).
  • Test creatives, audiences, placements, and hypotheses to improve performance.
  • Monitor traffic quality and ensure KPI compliance.
  • Analyze competitors and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Work with analytics: build reports, interpret data, and provide optimization insights.
  • Ensure correct tracking setup (UTMs, pixel, CAPI, trackers).

Requirements

Business Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a market expansion strategy to strengthen our position in Malaysia.
  • Build and nurture relationships with IBs, partners, and key stakeholders to drive revenue.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes to refine business plans.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and business meetings.
  • Align local operations with regional and global business objectives.

Sales & Partnership Development

  • Lead and scale high-performing sales or BDMs teams, ensuring revenue and growth targets are met.
  • Expand and optimize IB, affiliate, and institutional partnerships.
  • Oversee marketing and promotional initiatives to enhance brand presence and client acquisition.
  • Strengthen partner engagement and implement effective retention programs.

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure that local operations adhere to regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Work closely with legal, finance, and compliance teams to manage risk and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee office setup, team structuring, and reporting procedures.
  • Implement processes to enhance client experience and operational excellence.

People & Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and develop a dynamic team across sales, BDMs, and operations.
  • Define KPIs and performance benchmarks to drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Cultivate a positive and results-driven company culture.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in the Forex/CFD industry, with a focus on sales and business development.
  • Strong network of IBs, affiliates, and institutional partners in Malaysia.
  • Deep understanding of trading platforms, client needs, and competitive strategies.
  • Experience in managing P&L, operations, and local regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in English and Malay (Chinese is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel across Malaysia and Southeast Asia as required.
