Regional Influencer Marketing Manager – Malaysia

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Regional Influencer Marketing Manager to build and scale influencer marketing in Malaysia. The key priority for this role is a strong existing network of local influencers, content creators, KOLs, community owners, and/or local agencies that can be activated for fast campaign launches.

The ideal candidate should deeply understand the Malaysian influencer landscape, local social media trends, audience behavior, and platform specifics across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Telegram, Facebook, and other relevant channels. This role will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, launching, and analyzing influencer campaigns that support brand growth, audience acquisition, and lead generation.

Requirements

  • Proven 1+ years of experience in influencer marketing in Malaysia in online brokers, fintech, crypto, iGaming, finance, investment, trading, or other high-risk digital products
  • Strong existing database/network of Malaysian influencers, KOLs, creators, agencies, community owners
  • Strong understanding of the Malaysian digital landscape: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Telegram, and Facebook
  • Ability to evaluate influencers by audience quality, engagement, authenticity, niche relevance, content style, pricing, and performance potential
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and Malay
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results in a performance-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Source, recruit, and manage Malaysian influencers, KOLs, creators, community owners, and local agencies
  • Manage the full influencer campaign cycle: outreach, negotiation, briefing, content approval, execution, reporting, and relationship management
  • Collaborate with creators on campaign ideas, briefs, scripts, hooks, and content formats tailored to the Malaysian audience
  • Track campaign performance, analyze results, and provide insights on influencers, pricing, audience quality, and effective formats
  • Build long-term relationships with high-performing influencers and identify opportunities for recurring partnerships or ambassador programs
