Retention Marketing Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for a Retention Marketing Specialist to own and execute customer lifecycle and retention initiatives across our global markets. This is a hands-on solo role, where you will be directly responsible for creating, formatting, and optimising campaigns across email, push, and in-app channels using SendGrid, Mailchimp, OneSignal, and Firebase. The role combines strategic planning with daily execution — from campaign design and localisation management to testing, reporting, and optimisation. Your mission will be to increase customer lifetime value (LTV), reduce churn, and strengthen engagement with our trading platform through well-designed lifecycle communications.
Responsibilities
- Create, design, and format email campaigns directly in SendGrid and Mailchimp (from copywriting and layout to testing and sending);
- Build and manually configure automated journeys (welcome flows, onboarding, activation, reactivation, win-back) across email and push channels;
- Plan and execute push and in-app campaigns using OneSignal and Firebase;
- Manage localisation of campaigns through external contractors (Upwork and other freelance platforms), ensuring timely and high-quality delivery;
- Run A/B and multivariate tests, optimising campaigns based on results;
- Analyse campaign performance (open/click rates, conversions, retention, churn, LTV, DAU/MAU) and provide actionable insights;
- Explore personalisation and AI-based segmentation approaches to improve relevance and engagement (nice to have);
- Collaborate closely with designers, promo managers, and product managers to ensure campaigns are visually appealing, timely, and aligned with product priorities.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in global email/retention marketing;
- Proven experience in CFD brokerage, iGaming, betting, or fintech industries;
- Strong knowledge of customer lifecycle and churn drivers;
- Hands-on experience with SendGrid, Mailchimp, OneSignal, Firebase (or similar platforms);
- Ability to independently manage end-to-end campaign execution (planning, building, testing, reporting);
- Proficiency in A/B testing and data-driven optimisation;
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to turn data into actions;
- Experience managing localisation workflows with contractors/freelancers;
- Familiarity with personalisation and AI-driven segmentation (a plus, not required);
- Excellent organisational and communication skills;
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.

- Experience working in Asia and MENA regions.
